The first time I remember getting excited about bondage must have been when I was “reading” a Tarzan comic book with a story in which Tarzan gets captured and tightly bound to a pole by a tribe of natives. I was probably around 3-4 years old at the time – definitely less than 6, though. Later there would seldom be a game where the protagonist(s) didn’t get bound by the bad guys or gals before eventually getting free and saving the day.

Of course all this didn’t connect as anything sexual in my mind until considerably later when I rediscovered/remembered these games I was so fond of when I was younger.

 So, apparently there’s now a sequel for the Shining (the novel) with little Danny Torrance all grown up. I’m sure the movie for it will be something like this…

BTW I was reading this analysis about the meanings of the movie while working on the image (which didn’t speed up the process up… 🙂 Very fascinating, even if you don’t agree with (all of) it. Great eye for detail, and there sure is a lot of stuff in the film …
